• We are looking for a Big Data Platform Administrator to operate and maintain large-scale Hadoop-based data lake environments for a leading financial services organization.

Задачи

• Operate, monitor, and support Hadoop-based data lake platforms
• Provide incident response , deep troubleshooting, and performance tuning across big data components
• Ensure data integrity, replication, capacity management , and resource allocation within HDFS clusters
• Develop, maintain, and automate monitoring and alerting for platform services and node health
• Support onboarding of new workloads in collaboration with platform and data teams
• Manage authentication, authorization, and encryption: Kerberos, Ranger/Sentry, TLS
• Work closely with storage, network, and security teams to optimize throughput, access controls, and backup strategies
• Maintain platform documentation and contribute to knowledge sharing
• Strong knowledge of Hadoop, Cloudera, YARN, Kafka
• Solid expertise in Linux , JVM tuning, system-level troubleshooting, and distributed environments
• Experience with PostgreSQL / SQL databases
• Automation skills using Ansible, Python, Java
• Strong background in Kerberos, cryptography, and access control policies
• Understanding of microservices architectures and on-premise deployments
• Fluency in English (mandatory)
• Experience in banking or regulated environments is a plus

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Big Data / Hadoop platform administration
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
