• Capco is seeking an experienced Developer with Prompt Engineering to join our Technology & Engineering practice in Toronto on a contract basis. This is an existing vacancy supporting the delivery of innovative technology solutions for leading financial services clients.
• You will play a key role in designing and developing scalable backend Python applications while leveraging AI technologies. Prompt Engineering is a core requirement for this role , and you will work extensively with Generative AI techniques to build intelligent, production-ready solutions for our clients.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python and modern software engineering best practices
• Develop and optimize prompts using Generative AI prompt engineering techniques to support enterprise AI solutions
• Build and integrate APIs and backend services that enable AI-powered applications
• Collaborate with architects, data specialists, and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical solutions
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

Требования

• Strong commercial experience developing backend applications using Python
• Hands-on experience with Prompt Engineering, including Generative AI prompt engineering techniques (essential)
• Experience working with AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions
• Experience building RESTful APIs and scalable backend architectures
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within Agile delivery teams

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerization technologies
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
