• Your Mission & Who We Are Looking For

Требования

• Rather than defaulting to managed AWS services, the team actively replaces them with open-source alternatives like Druid, Airflow, Grafana, Prometheus, Spark, Trino, MLFlow, Jupiter Hub, Elasticsearch, and Fluentbit as part of a deliberate move toward cloud-agnostic architecture
• Cost efficiency is treated as an engineering constraint, not an afterthought, including AI-based anomaly detection on infrastructure costs
• 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
• You've designed and operated cloud infrastructure at scale, with hands-on experience deploying and managing containerized applications in Kubernetes
• At adjoe, you'll be working across a stack that includes Kafka, Druid, Airflow, Spark, Terraform, and Gitlab running on Kubernetes clusters across data centers
• Deep in the AWS ecosystem
• You have a strong understanding of AWS services (EKS, DynamoDB, SNS, SQS, IAM, Lambda) and manage infrastructure as code through Terraform
• You know the tradeoffs between managed AWS services and open-source alternatives, and have opinions about when each makes sense
• Microservice event-driven architecture is your daily context
• You understand how microservices communicate: topics, queues, object storage, and can support backend teams building high-performance Go services across distributed environments
• Reliable CI/CD is a product requirement
• You build pipelines that are fast, predictable, and low-maintenance, ensuring smooth delivery without becoming a bottleneck
• Hands-on with emerging infrastructure
• You're comfortable migrating existing workloads to self-hosted solutions as well as introducing new tools boost business results

• 400 million user events daily, traffic spikes of 150,000+ requests per second, and a data lake that feeds data scientists, BIs, and real-time ML inference across the entire ad stack
• To handle this reliably and cost-efficiently, the team runs Kubernetes with event-driven autoscaling and Karpenter, manages Kafka clusters for real-time streaming, and provisions everything through Terraform
