• As the Director of Quality Assurance , you will shape and drive the quality vision for one of Scopely’s most ambitious upcoming projects
• You will be accountable for defining and executing QA strategies that ensure every player experiences a consistently high-quality, globally resonant game while empowering a growing development team to deliver on our aspirations
• This is both a strategic and operational leadership role with a strong technical focus
• We intend to heavily leverage automation to deliver high-quality experiences and interactions at scale
• As the project evolves, you will build and lead a team of quality professionals across multiple initiatives and regions, while developing modern tools, automation, and processes
• You will partner closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to champion a culture of quality throughout the organization
• You will also play an instrumental role in shaping how the team iterates toward success and continuously evolves its ways of working
• Craft & Technical Excellence
• Drive the adoption of modern testing strategies, automation frameworks, and tooling to support multi-platform development across PC and mobile, internal and external development teams, and generated content
• Establish, monitor, and evolve KPIs and quality metrics that assess product health, identify risks, and guide continuous improvement
• Partner with development teams to embed quality practices throughout the development lifecycle rather than relying solely on end-stage testing
• Continuously evaluate opportunities to improve QA efficiency, coverage, scalability, and reliability through automation and tooling
• Strategic & Organizational Leadership
• Define and execute a scalable, long-term QA vision and roadmap aligned with the project’s product and operational strategies
• Own the QA organizational structure, hiring strategy, and resourcing plans in alignment with the project vision, budget, and team growth needs
• Influence product leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to embed quality considerations throughout the product lifecycle
• Build a culture of ownership, accountability, innovation, and bias toward action within the QA discipline
• Develop a deep understanding of the product, its IP, and its core gameplay systems to effectively support ongoing quality efforts and evolving project needs
• Partner with senior leadership to identify quality risks, establish priorities, and ensure QA strategy evolves alongside the project

• Foster an inclusive and engaging team culture where Scopeleans can do their best work
• Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing QA organization across multiple initiatives and locations
• Identify and address capability gaps across the QA team, proactively developing future-ready talent and leadership pipelines

Требования

• Significant experience leading Quality Assurance within game development, including experience operating at a senior leadership level
• Strong technical expertise and a proven ability to achieve high levels of quality through automated testing across multiple phases of game development
• Experience designing, implementing, or scaling test automation frameworks and modern QA tooling
• Demonstrated experience supporting complex, multi-platform products, ideally across PC and mobile
• Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building, developing, and leading high-performing teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent attention to detail
• Strong organizational, prioritization, time management, and accountability skills
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for your team while balancing broader product and business priorities
• A proactive, enthusiastic, and self-motivated approach, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment
• Comfortable working within an agile development environment and managing quality coverage across multiple high-profile releases with strict deadlines
• Exceptional reporting capabilities, including the ability to translate quality data and metrics into clear insights for senior stakeholders
• Extensive knowledge of Jira or comparable defect-tracking and development-management systems
• Willingness to travel occasionally to collaborate with teams across Scopely hub locations

• Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience

• 139,400 — $205,000 USD
