Задачи

• As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead the Nav iOS SDK team in advancing the maps and navigation ecosystem at Mapbox
• Mentor and Develop Talent: Support and inspire engineers, fostering a culture of growth, creativity, and innovation
• Promote Collaboration and Innovation: Build an inclusive and collaborative environment where data-driven decisions fuel success
• Drive Strategic Objectives: Align your team’s work with company and product goals, ensuring strategic cohesion
• Define Product Roadmaps: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to shape the roadmap for our Nav SDKs
• Shape the Vision: Play a key role in envisioning and evolving our rendering engines, contributing to business and product planning
• WHAT WE BELIEVE ARE IMPORTANT TRAITS FOR THIS ROLE
• Leadership Experience: 3+ years of engineering management experience
• Experience managing cross-functional teams of 5+ people
• Experience developing Mobile SDKs, including SDK architecture, API design, and design patterns, is a nice-to-have
• Knowledge of Maps, Navigation, Location Technologies such as GIS systems is a nice to have
• Talent Acquisition and Development: A track record of hiring and growing top technical talent
• Operational Excellence: Commitment to monitoring, metrics, and continuous improvement processes
• High Standards and Quality: Balancing speed and quality to uphold an excellent developer experience

• Proven track record of leading technical teams to deliver impactful products
• Technical Expertise: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in mobile software development (iOS or Android)
• Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in English (C1 level minimum) is required for daily stakeholder communication
