• When joining Tieto Tech Consulting as Software Engineer for Radio/Baseband Unit (L1 domain engineer), you will be responsible for
• Design and Implementation of features in next-generation 5G telecommunication technologies (L1 domain) which runs on custom DSP based hardware
• Pushing the limits of system capabilities by improving performance, latency, throughput, and resource utilization
• Working with multiple-DSP real-time system
• Focus on system bottlenecks and limitations
• Working on memory optimization and memory profiling
• Secure long term product quality and ensure architecture and code structure
• Build competence and support others with technical coaching
• We expect you to have
• Wide knowledge related to Telecommunications in general
• Participation in interesting and stable projects (both local and international)
• Possibility of working with great people who are real experts in their field

Требования

• Do you have a strong L1, C/Embedded background, passion for problem-solving, and want to join one of the largest tech companies in the Nordics?

• Experience and knowledge of L1 domain in 5G/4G RAT system (5G grid, symbol/slot/subframe/subcarrier, RB)
• Experience in either ULPHY or DLPHY area
• C programming skills with a proven industry experience
• Experience in programming on Linux platform
• Experience with debugging network issues/user space programs and troubleshooting system issues
• Ability to solve SW/HW interoperability problems
• Maintenance – analyzing the logs, tracking bugs, searching for memory leaks
• SW Design and Documentation
• Knowledge, how to use git, jira, Jenkins
• Good English
