• We are looking for an outstanding Middle Python Engineer for Recorded Future’s Integrations team!
• We’re the bridge between our data and our client’s systems. We’re a full-cycle/end-to-end ownership - meaning that you will be part of the complete life cycle of integration from concept and design to implementation, maintenance, and eventually end-of-life

• Own and drive Integrations development work with the main focus on the security and threat intelligence space
• Continuously design, develop, and deploy integration services with a focus on high availability, excellent quality, low latency, and performance
• Unit tests for automated build and test pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues (not first-line support, though)

• You will be joining a group of talented developers who share a common interest in making Recorded Future’s data available in various other systems and platforms
• The core focus of this role is the integration between the Recorded Future platform and the multiple tools organizations use to protect their IT infrastructure
• Some examples of such tools are SIEM systems (Security Information and Event Management, e.g., Splunk and QRadar), SOAR systems (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response, e.g., Demisto), Incident Response systems (e.g., ServiceNow), or TIPs (Threat Intelligence Platform, e.g., MISP)

Требования

• 4+ years of commercial experience with Python
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining integrations with third-party APIs
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, JSON, authentication, pagination, rate limiting, retries, and error handling
• Hands-on experience with automated testing using pytest or a similar Python testing framework
• Practical experience working with MongoDB or a similar document-oriented database
• Experience with message-driven systems using RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc
• Experience using logs, metrics, and dashboards to troubleshoot application behavior, using tools such as Kibana and Grafana
• Knowledge and curiosity about how integration platforms work and how a platform expects integrations to integrate
• Experience with Linux/Unix and Windows systems
• Passion for and experience in robust multi-platform code development
• Ability to take the initiative and collaborate across teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort in context switching
• Relevant education or experience

• A good understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms
• Experience working with Splunk, QRadar, ServiceNow, or any other system in the Security or Threat Intelligence space
• Cyber Security / Threat Intelligence education and experience
• Experience in working with test frameworks (e.g., unit testing)
• Comfortable working in global teams
