• We work closely with product managers, product designers, and backend engineers to deliver highly reliable, high-performance systems for customers worldwide. As a Senior Android Developer , you’ll build and own new product features for the Robinhood Wallet Android app

• Build intuitive, elegant, and stable mobile experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs
• Lead the full lifecycle of product features — from ideation and technical design to implementation, testing, and release
• Collaborate closely with product managers, product designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to create impactful solutions
• Champion mobile development standards and code review processes that ensure high quality, scalability, and maintainability
• Mentor other developers and help elevate team standards and collaboration
• Join us in building the future of finance
• You will develop reliable and secure solutions to deliver a high-quality trading experience for cryptocurrencies and tokenized stocks, including perpetual futures, to customers worldwide
• In this role, you will take lead responsibility for designing scalable mobile architectures, defining code standards, and maintaining high-quality codebases
• You will collaborate closely with client engineers, backend developers, product designers, and external blockchain partners to deliver secure technical integrations

Требования

• 5+ years of professional experience developing Android applications
• Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java, and a strong grasp of Android SDK and architecture patterns like MVVM
• Experience using Jetpack Compose, Coroutines & Flow or RxJava, and libraries such as Retrofit and Room
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused perspective
• Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions
• Additionally, you will mentor other developers and raise our overall engineering standards through design reviews, architecture discussions, and hands-on technical leadership
• This role is based in our Toronto, ON office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week
