Задачи

• Design, build, test, and deploy scalable backend services that power Robinhood Wallet
• Develop product-facing features and platform enhancements that meet strict correctness and scalability standards
• Identify and implement improvements to system performance, engineering productivity, and risk reduction
• Collaborate closely with client teams, product managers, designers, and external vendors to deliver reliable technical solutions
• Join us in building the future of finance
• As a Software Developer , you will build and own the backend services, infrastructure, and data systems that support Robinhood Wallet products
• You will develop new features and system enhancements to deliver a highly secure and efficient trading experience for cryptocurrencies and tokenized stocks, including perpetual futures, to customers worldwide
• In this role, you will design scalable architectures and maintain high-quality codebases
• You will also collaborate with other engineering teams to guide key technical decisions and raise our team's engineering standards
• This role is based in our Toronto, ON office(s), with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week

Требования

• 2+ years of experience in software development
• Expertise in backend development using languages such as Go, Python, or Java, with deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures
• Strong grasp of system design, data modeling, and software engineering fundamentals
• Proven ability to simplify complex problems, make sound tradeoffs, and drive alignment across product, engineering, and design teams
• Strong sense of personal accountability with a track record of delivering successful, end-to-end products and raising team-wide technical standards

• Experience working for a DeFi protocol, a crypto wallet company, or another blockchain-related company
• Familiarity with technologies like EVM blockchains and smart contracts
