• Build the programs to help Flexport grow
• Since 2020, Flexport's Automation Engineering team (formerly the Low Code team) has used tools like Retool, n8n, Python/Streamlit, and Apps Script to automate the "long tail" of operational complexity across Customs — delivering millions of dollars in ROI. As Flexport moves upmarket, more clients need custom integrations to onboard successfully, and this is the team that builds those solutions quickly and pragmatically.

Задачи

• Build, deploy, and maintain production-grade integrations and automations using Retool, n8n, Python/Streamlit, Apps Script, and SQL
• Partner with Customs BD, operations, and business units to translate business requirements into technical requirements and solutions
• Own the rollout, monitoring, and iteration of the tools you build, with an eye on reliability and client impact
• Document your solutions so they are easy for others to adopt, use, and maintain

Требования

• 1-3 years of experience building automations, integrations, or software in a data-rich environment
• Working proficiency in JavaScript or Python for data transformation, business logic, and dynamic queries
• Advanced SQL
• Experience consuming REST APIs (GraphQL a plus)
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and feature branching (e.g., GitHub)
• Low-code/workflow tools (Retool, n8n) and EDI/integration exposure are a plus
• A "compliance first" attitude to keep our regulators happy and enthusiastic about Flexport since we operate in a heavily regulated industry

• The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salary for the position in the posting's respective region
• Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location
• Within the range displayed, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and / or training
• 78,400 — $98,000 USD
