• Scorewarrior is a game developer and publisher based in Limassol, Cyprus.
• We are working on Total Battle — a cross-platform MMO 4X strategy game with a deep social system and extensive player interaction. We have 2 million monthly active players and are continuing to grow, with the goal of becoming the #1 game in the genre.
• Our team consists of 200+ passionate, talented, self-driven, and continually developing professionals who love making high-quality games.
• At Scorewarrior, we're making a long-term investment in Building Blocks — a new generation of self-service internal products with clear interfaces, contracts, and documentation that game teams can adopt independently.

Задачи

• Build and grow a high-performing engineering team
• Lead the technical evolution of Localization Hub while ensuring continuous product development
• Remain hands-on by contributing to architecture, technical design, code reviews, and key implementation work, especially during the team's early stages
• Drive the migration of the existing platform to a scalable engineering architecture
• Establish engineering standards, development processes, and delivery practices that scale
• Partner closely with Product to translate business priorities into engineering execution
• Coach engineers through regular feedback, mentoring, and career development
• Drive the adoption of AI where it meaningfully improves engineering productivity and product capabilities
• Help establish engineering approaches that can be reused across future Building Blocks

Требования

• We're looking for an engineering leader who enjoys transforming existing products, building strong engineering teams, and shaping technical direction
• Proven experience building and growing engineering teams
• Experience hiring, mentoring, and developing high-performing engineers
• Experience designing and evolving production software architectures
• Experience delivering internal platforms, developer tooling, or complex backend systems
• Experience balancing long-term platform investments with continuous product delivery
• A strong understanding of software architecture, CI/CD, automated testing, and engineering quality
• Experience partnering closely with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders
• Technical expertise
• We value strong engineering fundamentals over experience with a specific technology stack, but you should feel comfortable working with modern backend technologies
• Experience with any of the following is highly valued
• TypeScript, Go, or other modern backend technologies
• Service-oriented architecture and API design
• Cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
• AI-powered products or AI-assisted engineering workflows

• Experience building Internal Developer Platforms (IDP) or DevEx products
• Experience with localization platforms, CAT/TMS tools, or translation workflows
