What is The Role. We are looking for an outstanding leader to helm our Observability Product Marketing team

Задачи

• Provides thought leadership around market trends and competing solutions
• Brings excellent leadership and teamship to the company, interfaces effectively with Leadership, Product, Sales and Marketing
• Leads a growing Observability PMM team, including hiring and development of talent
• Set the Observability marketing strategy — including messaging, technical content, priorities, field enablement, and GTM
• Clearly articulates Elastic’s position and differentiation vs similar offerings. Be the expert on competitive capabilities
• Create, curate and present compelling content for consumption on the web, press releases, executive briefings, blogs and sales enablement
• Is the expert on target personas and segments, how customers buy and users adopt our products, and the value they derive from them
• Represent the company at various speaking engagements, conferences and press interviews
• Act as a technical product marketing lead for Elastic Observability
• Serve as an internal authority on the developer and SRE personas
• What You Will Bring
• Being successful will require you to bring Observability domain expertise
• Familiarity with Elastic products is a plus

• Well respected leader who has built, scaled, and lead global teams of 5 - 15 people
• Several years experience creating outbound messaging and content that resonates with a technical SRE audience
• Creative energy , courage to throw out the playbook, and out of the box thinking
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
• Technical depth with respect to our products, solutions and industries we play in and capable of learning quickly
• Comfortable working in a cross-functional role with a highly distributed team

Требования

• You should have deep technical understanding of Observability solutions (being a former practitioner is a plus) with a nuanced understanding of the Observability market technologies and competitive dynamics
• Additionally, you should be adept at the creative aspects of positioning technology through messaging and narratives that are compelling, authentic, and differentiated!
• Ability to be hands-on with the product (former practitioner a plus)
